Bus Services and Transport

The H1 bus travels through Morley along the A608 between Derby and Heanor in the day as well as operating a late night service: Tel. 0870 608 2 608 for timetable information or 01773 712265 for timetable and fare information.

The Y1 covers roughly the same route as the H1 but may be more convenient for some people. the information can be found here

The No. 59 bus travels through Morley along a route from Breadsall Village, over Morley Moor, Quarry Road, and Brackley Gate between Derby and Ilkeston: Tel. 01159 325332 for more details.

Erewash Community Transport, based in Ilkeston, provides transport for the elderly, for community groups, and for the disabled around the Erewash Borough area.

The Dial-a-bus Service is a 'door to town' service for people who have difficulty accessing public transport.

This service picks up passengers in Morley, Little Eaton, Breadsall, Stanley, Stanley Common, Borrowash and Ockbrook for return journeys to Asda Spondon.

There are also regular monthly services to Derby and Nottingham. If a passenger requires assistance in town, an escort can be provided or alternatively - bring a friend.

Council Info

The next meeting of Morley Parish Council will be held on Thursday, 27 April at The Retreat, Church Lane, Morley at 7.30 pm. It will be followed by an open meeting to plan the Morley Gala. Everyone welcome. Future meetings will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month, except December.
